Superbad (2007)


Movie plot (spoilers) 

The movie begins by introducing the characters who the movie is based around these being Seth (Jonah Hill) Evan (Michael Cera) Fogall (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). The movie follows the three teenage boys are their quest to get with girls and party before they head off to college. The Problem is they are all nerds and don't fit in at school, there attempt to fit in they send Fogell out to get a fake ID in order to be able to buy alcohol for a party thrown by one of the popular girls at school. Seems nice a straight forward right... 
wrong it turns in an adventure running in with crazy police officers all within the span of the night leading up until the party where they eventually ruin the party and ruin their chances at popularity or any of the girls they are after. But as most movies run they end up fixing the problems that they caused and are able to re connect with the girls and achieve their wants before college          
                                

        




Thoughts on the movie 

If you've keep up to date with the few movie reviews i've done you know that they have all been very similar and this follows the trend as its a true comedy movie you'll either find it amazing or complete crap but overall i thought it was one of the better comedy movies as it is extremely relatable for it target audience of teenage boys, as they also feel the struggles that the boys face trying to fit in. 
So my next movie will be something a little different try and mix it up just a little and not give the same opinions, so next one look forward to something different.

Disney 'Pinnochio' (1940) Review

Pinocchio. The story of an older, lonely man who wishes that his hand-carved puppet would come to life. It’s a magical story that I found to be the best movie that we have covered thus far in our quest to watch and review every Disney Animated theatrical release. Disney 'Beauty and the Beast' (2017) Review

Disney's live-action  Beauty and the Beast  isn't bad. How could it be? It's basically a remake of one of the greatest animated movies of all time. It's when it tries to be different that it stumbles, and those problems drag down the good parts where it gets hard to overlook its flaws, making you wonder if you should just watch the animated version again. The film's music acts as a microcosm of this problem. In almost every song from the original movie, they have added an orchestral dance break. Those breaks keep the songs from reaching a natural climax and, for anyone who knows the original movie — it is extremely distracting.
