DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story (2004)



                                                     



Movie plot

Peter La fleur (Vince Vaughn) the owner of Averages Joe's Gym is in debt and struggling to get through with bills stacking up, Peter and the members of the Gym try to find a way to get the $50,00 they need into to keep the gym from the competing gym over White Goodman (Ben Stiller) 
They find an add in the newspaper about a dodgeball competition where the winning team takes home $50,000 so they enter the competition with none of them having an athletic background. When Goodman finds out they there entering the competition he puts together a super team in order to keep them out of the competition.  

After battling their way through the early stages of the knockout rounds the find themselves in the final against White Goodman and his Globo Gym team, it goes down the sudden death between Peter and White. and in the end, as all good movies, Peter wins. 
but earlier he sold his gym to white for $10,000 so the gym is now Whites. 
But the movie cliches continue as Peter used the money to place a bet on them to win so he ends up making a lot of money and being able to purchase the controlling share of Globo Gym meaning he gettings his gym back and controls White's so its a win win for Peter and the rest of them.  
        



Thoughts on the movie 

I thought i would write about this movie as when i was thinking of great comedy movies that i could watch over and over this was one of the first movies i thought about. so i saved it for the end so if i ran out of ideas then i would least have this. but overall i think it's a great movie and doesn't have a target audience i honestly think that anyone would enjoy watching it and have a good laugh. So i strongly recommend it for anybody looking for a good few hours.

Disney 'Pinnochio' (1940) Review

Pinocchio. The story of an older, lonely man who wishes that his hand-carved puppet would come to life. It’s a magical story that I found to be the best movie that we have covered thus far in our quest to watch and review every Disney Animated theatrical release. Disney 'Beauty and the Beast' (2017) Review

Disney's live-action  Beauty and the Beast  isn't bad. How could it be? It's basically a remake of one of the greatest animated movies of all time. It's when it tries to be different that it stumbles, and those problems drag down the good parts where it gets hard to overlook its flaws, making you wonder if you should just watch the animated version again. The film's music acts as a microcosm of this problem. In almost every song from the original movie, they have added an orchestral dance break. Those breaks keep the songs from reaching a natural climax and, for anyone who knows the original movie — it is extremely distracting.
