Oh! That Film Review

"Live. Die. Repeat" Imagine having to live the same day over and over and over again. That is exactly what happens to the protagonist of this film, Major William Cage played by Tom Cruise. With an alien race, called the Mimics quickly spreading, killing and overtaking the human population across the world, we see everyone under great pressure, with the United Defence Force actively trying to fight back. We see Cage being demoted from a public affairs officer to Private for objecting to an order. He ends up being tasered, waking up in handcuffs at Heathrow Airport. The film revolves around Cage reliving this very day. Having to take on a much more physical role, with absolutely no combat experience, Cage tackles many struggles, while battling against the Mimics. Along the way he encounters Rita Vrataski (played by Emily Blunt) and the film captures their repeated daily journey in an attempt to defeat the enemy. Disney's live-action  Beauty and the Beast  isn't bad. How could it be? It's basically a remake of one of the greatest animated movies of all time. It's when it tries to be different that it stumbles, and those problems drag down the good parts where it gets hard to overlook its flaws, making you wonder if you should just watch the animated version again. The film's music acts as a microcosm of this problem. In almost every song from the original movie, they have added an orchestral dance break. Those breaks keep the songs from reaching a natural climax and, for anyone who knows the original movie — it is extremely distracting. Yes, the musical numbers look great, but just as you're getting into them — bam, a sudden drop in energy for a completely unneeded dance number. This happens in the plot as well. Train to Busan… what a movie. A whole lot of action, drama and horror jam-packed into one of the most suspenseful and exciting movies I've ever seen. Based in South Korea, this film takes place in a bullet train en route to Busan from the capital city, Seoul. Passengers on the train struggle to survive as a zombie virus breaks out and spreads through the country. The film surrounds fund manager, workaholic and single father, Seok-woo and his young daughter, Soo-an through their battle to make it out alive. It takes us on a journey of emotions, with the writers and director imaginatively creating an amazing film around an idea so simple and predictable like zombies on a train, completely shocking us viewers, keeping us on edge the whole time through it's ingenious and innovative execution. Pinocchio. The story of an older, lonely man who wishes that his hand-carved puppet would come to life. It’s a magical story that I found to be the best movie that we have covered thus far in our quest to watch and review every Disney Animated theatrical release. Why this movie ?  To many people this may seem like some random movie that was made for young teenagers and in all fairness that is probably true cause its when i first watched and couldn't stop it watching it over and over it. It's easily one of my favourite movies not cause it got a good story line or thats its interesting its the fact that it is stupid which makes it hilarious and great fun to watch. I went to Reading Cinemas, Rhodes the other week to watch Ghost in the Shell as well as to grab some dinner. Overall it was a nice movie- quite different from any others that I've seen, with interesting cinematography and animations. With this said, it was still personally an average movie. Film Analysis  The movie is an American science fiction action film based on the 1995 Japanese manga of the same name. Based in Japan, it is set in the future, with humans and robots living alongside each other, almost to the point of them being indistinguishable. The music, action and visual effects especially were quite impressive, with the life-like robots and animations looking so real and intriguing.
